I really like your idea to turn it into a story. It's amazing how you can sometimes have a story idea in front of you and not see it until someone else points it out! Thanks.

Love,
Erin

PS: Thanks, too, for comments on genuineness. This gave me a lot to think about! I'm not sure if any of my tiny works are "talking head stories" or not, but I know now to try to avoid doing it.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13993433014067689968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19032705.post-10881485798090051612007-01-21T20:29:00.000-05:002007-01-21T20:29:00.000-05:00It sounds like a good week. I bet students in both classes were delighted!

The "bear at the door" concept makes me think of a movie I saw last weekend--"Stranger Than Fiction". Did you see this? I thought it was really interesting, and well done (perhaps because I didn't go in expecting a lot). At one point in the movie, the main character tempts fate by inaction--to see if he is controlling his life (or his story) or if it is being controlled by an outside force.

I enjoyed this entry!Erin Berger Guendelsbergerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08355246903582432686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19032705.post-8883713751131895452007-01-21T08:43:00.000-05:002007-01-21T08:43:00.000-05:00We received How Art Made the World through Netflix...We received How Art Made the World through Netflix and really enjoyed it.

Peace, VirginiaVirginiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04451139904242764009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19032705.post-21212469039954589912007-01-20T20:05:00.000-05:002007-01-20T20:05:00.000-05:00I so enjoyed this entry, Theresa; the class presen...I so enjoyed this entry, Theresa; the class presentation, the DH Lawrence poem, the Spivey documentary, the Berryman letters.
