Theresa Williams has left the building

This first post is simply to stress my disappointment with AOL, where I have kept a journal for more than a year. AOL, without prior notice and without our permission, has tacked banner ads onto our journals, causing a mass exodus and many sad hearts. Shame on you AOL.

I'm with you and others too Theresa. Thanks for letting me know where you'll be until everything settles out with AOL.
This journal link is saved.
Looking forward to your entries.
Take care,
Gem :-)

I told you that so you'd know that that is how it works for EVERYONE!

Glad to find you again. Would have been a hole in my soul otherwise. Keep up the good fight.

Theresa,

I'm so glad to find you here. I'm still getting used to it, but I think the layout is much better. Please stop by when you have a chance, although I'm still in the process of moving in.

Theresa, so glad to see you. I haven't quite figured out the bells and whistles of blogspot yet. Will take a while. Later, Beth

Well, here you are! Glad it all seems to be working out for everyone here. I did set up a blog here, but only because I found at another journal, she didn't accept anonymous comments. I'll probably plug away on livejournal - I spent $25 on it a couple of months ago, and I want my money's worth!

Looking forward to seeing htis all unfold.

Love, Vicky

"I was no better than dust, yet you cannot replace me. . . Take the soft dust in your hand--does it stir: does it sing? Has it lips and a heart? Does it open its eyes to the sun? Does it run, does it dream, does it burn with a secret, or tremble In terror of death? Or ache with tremendous decisions?. . ." --Conrad Aiken

From the First Chapter

The Secret of Hurricanes : That article in the Waterville Scout said it was Shake- spearean, all that fatalism that guides the Kennedys' lives. The likelihood of untimely death. Recently, another one died in his prime, John-John in an airplane. Not long before that, Bobby's boy. While playing football at high speeds on snow skis. Those Kennedys take some crazy chances. I prefer my own easy ways. Which isn't to say my life hasn't been Shake-spearean. By the time I was sixteen, my life was like the darkened stage at the end of Hamlet or Macbeth. All littered with corpses and treachery.
