August 28
Outside the insects are screaming,
"It's still summer! It's still summer!"
Bees and butterflies
work in the sunflower middles.
Butterfly, elephant-fairie, dipping
your long trunk into the blossom.
Bee, I'm afraid of you, though I know
you will not sting me.

You have a beautiful piece of property.
I like your poem too; you have such a gentle touch. Sadly, I think my last lines would be, "Bee, I'm afraid of you, because I know / you will not sting me."
Lovely posts today.
The pictures have a very surreal feel to them. very nice.
